Cancer Ribbon Chart

You can use this chart in your favorite color to create an awareness ribbon piece. Use it with the Generic Hat Patterns located in the patterns section of my site. I will also be writing up the pattern for those of you who don't wish to work from a chart.

What a darling girl! Thank you for the chart. I will put this on my to do list. Would this work for a summer hat knit from cotton?

Thank you :) I would probably suggest a cotton blend like cottonease because straight cotton can be difficult to do stranded colorwork with.

Oh my sweet kneed knockers! A friend wants me to make up that pattern for her mother in law who is terminal with breast cancer. I spent hours looking for a pattern, until my husband whipped out Excel and made one for me. I should have just came here!! Lesson learned!!

Thanks for the suggestion of Cottonease too!

Oh my giddy aunt! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! I have been looking for a grid pattern for what seems like forever! This is perfect. I'm in the process of knitting a hat for a very dear friend who is also one of my biggest supporters in my "battle of the breasts" (sadly his wife lost her battle)& I wanted to knit a small ribbon into the hat, but hadn't been able to get it correct. I will definitely post you a picture when I get it finished. You are a darling for sharing. Thank you again!
